1958 The Beginning
In 1958, with a
share capital of 20,000 pesetas (120 €), four
friends, surnamed González, Varela, Ruiz and Riberas,
decide to establish a company devoted to buying and selling
iron and steel products, and selling tin and piano strings.
The name of the new company is formed using the first letters of their surnames: Gon-Va-R-Ri.
