Gonvarri Burgos

Established in 1966, Gonvarri Burgos has a surface area of 130,000 m2, where industrial facilities have progressively been built from an initial area of 4,000 m2 to an area of 67,000 m2 as it stands today.

Gonvarri Burgos, one of the oldest plants in the Group, is located in the Gamonal-Villimar industrial estate.

It started with a steel cutting line and currently has 10 slitting lines, 5 cut-to-length lines, 3 blanking lines, 1 pickling line, 1 roller, 6 annealing ovens, and 1 Skin-pass.

Large iron and steel works supply the raw material, in this case coils of different widths, thicknesses and qualities. These coils are custom cut at the plant according to our clients’ requirements, by slitting, cutting-to length and shaping.

Our main clients are: the direct automotive industry and the automotive parts industry, household appliances, construction, shelving, road safety, pipe fitters, boiler makers, and wholesalers.

With a policy of diversification for all qualities, finishes and types, and with a healthy selection of stock levels, Burgos guarantees its production and just in time distribution to its clients, making the plant the most complete and advanced service centre of its kind.

From 1966 to the present, Gonvarri Burgos has experienced steady growth. Since our beginnings we have always been committed to quality, continuously improving the activities we have developed. In order to improve our services for our clients, we are certified with ISO TS 16949 for Quality, ISO 14001 for the Environment and we are audited in compliance with Royal Decree 39/1997 on Occupational Hazards.
