Gonvauto
Gonvauto Group was created in 1992 to respond to the demand
to outsource the cutting process and supply of developments for the SEAT and VOLKSWAGEN
factories in Spain.
With an annual production of over 120 million parts and 450,000 tonnes,
the number of products the company manages in a year exceeds 700 units (rectangles,
trapeziums and silhouettes). In our two plants (Navarra and Barcelona) “X” quality (internal)
and “Z” quality (external) materials are processed.
Gonvauto's main mission is to collaborate so that the following
objectives are met for the client:
Ensuring that the material delivered conforms with the specified standard of QUALITY.
Ensuring that products are supplied in accordance with stipulated
REQUIREMENTS (Just in time).
Helping to reduce and control transformation COSTS.
Gonvauto carries out the following functions:
Management of Iron and Steel Purchases
Based on vehicle production planning, Gonvauto defines safety stocks and coil
delivery planning.
The Cutting Process
Based on the needs of the Client, Gonvauto guarantees that products are cut
two days before shipping.
An integrated management system ensures that clients are kept in the loop and that stocks are monitored in real time.
Quality Guarantee
Clients set the standard of quality in their Technical Specifications.
During the transformation process, Gonvauto's personnel apply the Control Plans agreed upon in order to
guarantee the mechanical, dimensional and surface appearance characteristics.
Delivery Planning
Based on the stocks of stamped parts and developments at the client's facilities, a
daily delivery schedule is determined and priorities are managed.
Deliveries are made 24h/24h, depending on the needs of the client.
Tool Management
During the tool industrialisation process, Gonvauto collaborates with the client
in order to define, construct and authorise these tools. As a result, they are
perfectly adapted to our facilities.
Gonvauto is responsible for the maintenance of the moulds.
Presently, Gonvauto supplies the most important stamping centres such as: SEAT Zona
Franca, SEAT Martorell, Volkswagen Pamplona and Grupo Gestamp.
