Cutting to length
These are lines that convert the starting coils into rectangular shaped, flat sheets stacked in packages.
The three crucial functions in these types of lines are: Levelling to achieve
perfect flatness; Cutting to the required size and shape; Stacking of cut sheets
in packages that are easy to handle and transport.
The facility's productivity largely depends on the stacking phase, which considers the features and appearance of the packages, and can be classified according to:
- The material to be stacked
- The weight of the sheets
- The quality of the edges
- The cost.
