Rolling

Rolling consists of reducing the thickness of the coil strip while providing it with resistance and hardness. The microstructure of the steel is modified in such a way that the coil tends to lengthen.

The process has automatic functions that include regulating speed and controlling thickness, resulting in excellent accuracy in the entire range of gages.
As a result of the microstructural modification, an annealing process is required. Here, both the malleability and stamping properties of the sheet modified by the cold reduction are restored.

The tempering process gives the sheet the metallurgic properties of hardness, resistance and surface roughness control.
