> Blanking
Turning a coil into flat sheets with various shapes. Requires a die and mounted press.
> Slitting
Turning a coil into one or several reels having a smaller width and/or diameter than the original coil.
> Cutting to Length
Turning a coil or reel into flat, rectangular-shaped sheets.
> Trapezoid Cutting
Turning a coil or reel into flat, trapezoidal-shaped sheets.
> Pickling
The process of removing zinc alloy and rust from hot-rolled coils through acid attack and rinsing.
> Continuous Galvanising
The process of coating both sides of the coil band with zinc by continuously dipping it into a bath of zinc at high temperatures.
> Hot-Dip Galvanising
The process of coating pieces with zinc, by intermittently dipping them into a bath of zinc at high temperatures.
> Electrogalvanisation
The process of coating one or both sides of the coil band with zinc through an electrolytic process.
> Rolling
The process of reducing the thickness of the coil band resulting in an increase in length.
> Skin-pass
The process of hardening and modifying the surface of the sheet by putting the band through two rollers.
> Degreasing
The process of cleaning any existing grease from the coil bands in order to subsequently process them on a coating line or as per the client’s requirements.
> Plastic Coating
The process of coating the steel coil bands with plastic of various colours and textures. Designed for appliances.
> Pipes
Turning coil bands into pipes of various diameters by bending the bands and subsequently welding them.
> Corrugated Sheet Metal
Turning coil bands into forms of various shapes. Primarily designed for industrial warehouse construction such as siding.
> Plasma Cutting
Turning flat sheets into very specific custom shapes as per the client’s requirements.
