Road Steel Engineering, the engineering and R&D team of our road safety division, is working on BATUN2 project, aimed at researching and developing a new urban vehicle restraint barrier, without welding, and with N2 containment capacity (able to withstand the impact of a 1,500 kg passenger car at 110 km/h and 20°) to create safer urban and peri-urban environments in line with today’s vehicle fleet.
The project is funded by CDTI (Spain) and scheduled for execution between January 2024 and September 2025, with an investment of €595,018.
